If you are looking for fun, versatile and colorful illustrations, Pablo de Rosi (aka DanchoPanda) got you covered! This talented artist from Argentina has a broad portfolio, full of powerful and eye catching pieces! The use of geometrics and bright spot colors are definitely his engaging trademark! Do you wanna know about this wonderful artist? Here is a little interview:
Q: Has illustration been constant in your life?
A: Yes! Since I was a child I drew as much as I could. I used to copy illustrations from different storybooks I owned. After some time, I started to create my own characters!
Q: What do you find yourself drawing the most?
A: I draw tons of animals currently! I think they add some extra feature to the pieces!
Q: What inspires you?
A: I follow tons of artists and illustrators. I really enjoy when they share their process. I also read tons of comics and watch cartoons. I guess all this inspires me to draw!
Q: Tell us a little bit about your style. Has it changed since you started your career?
A: When I started I really had a more comic-inspired style. (Full of lines and different size strokes) Nowadays, I feel more confortable with a more simple style. I enjoy to use spot colors, tons of geometric forms... I really want to achieve a more minimalistic style.
Q: Any tips/advice you would like to share?
A: For the ones that are starting to illustrate, I would say... Practice! Try to analyze what you enjoy (And add it to your own creations!) It doesn't matter what you observe, everything can be used in your drawings! Any good idea can inspire you to start! After some sketches it's time to add colors and create the final piece!
